The Sports Boosters at Trinity offer a 5 week "Speed School" each summer for all of our athletes. Finding the right coach had been difficult. We are so fortunate that a Trinity parent recommended Craig Coles to us! Running our Speed School is a tough assignment. On any given night, Coach Coles would have athletes ranging from 12th grade college football prospects to incoming 9th graders unsure of what sports they wanted to try. He was able to help them all. Each athlete -- regardless of age, ability or experience -- worked hard, got better and had fun in their time with Coach Coles. He encouraged them, challenged them, and taught them how to get the most out of their talents. We really see the positive effects of his time on our campus!

From day one, we created the foundations that would carry me through the rest of our time together. The intensity of the workouts Coach Craig had me doing go beyond my workouts in ARMY ROTC. I wanted to lose 70 pounds in 8 months and I lost 77 pounds in 6 and half months. My speed increased, my vertical increased, and I saw muscle tone that had never been there before. Coach Craig’s eating regiment went right along with our workout. I saw other guys coming into the weight room putting in double what I was doing and after three months they had gone nowhere. I owe my success as an athelete, ROTC cadet, and well being to Coach Craig. Before you call GOAL, sit down and think about your willingness to make a commitment. I worked with Coach Coles this past summer in order to prepare for cheer leading tryouts at James Madison University. On April 4th 2009 I badly injured my hand and wasn't able to cheer for 2 months and 2 weeks and definitely needed to get back into shape. So, as soon as I was cleared by my hand doctor I began working out with Coach Coles twice a week. I can honestly say, I have never been so sore in my entire life after my first two weeks with Coles. But it was more than worth it. My cheerleading coaches noticed a huge change in my stamina, tumbling skills, and over all muscle tone. My coed stunt partner commented on how much higher my jump became and how light I felt in the air because of how much I could tighten my muscles and urged me to continue my regular workout routine. I also noticed a huge change in my daily energy and I always felt better after my workouts. Not only did I feel satisfied hat I had worked hard with Coach Coles, who pushed me to my greatest potential during each workout, but it was also a great stress release. When tryouts came around, 87 girls showed up, and only 17 made the cut. I am proud to say, I am one of the 17 girls that made JMU's all-girl competition team. I honestly do not think I could have gotten this far in my cheerleading career if it had not been for Coach Coles. He made a custom workout plan for me and still kept in mind the goals I personally wanted to accomplish. I highly recommend Coach Craig Coles to any athlete who wants to get to that next level, especially College level. I hope to work with Coach Coles this coming summer and I encourage others to do the same.

Being a high school athlete that has the desire to get to the next level and continue my football career, I was looking for something or someone to give me that extra push to get there. Working with Coach Craig has worked wonders for me already and I am only a few weeks into the program. Every session is full of intensity and hardwork, but the program and workouts are designed specifically for each athlete. Coach Craig's method of training is not to only build up the physical aspect of his clients, but to also build up teh mental aspect too. He wants to build each one of his clients into a well rounded athlete that is going to demand the attention of others when they go out and perform in whatever sport they choose. Each client is going to receive attention on more of a one-on-one level that most other places are not going to be able to provide for you and a trainer that is right there working with you and pushing you to be your best. So, if you are looking for a place that is going to develope you into the best possible athlete you can be, this is the place you need to be!

Having worked with Craig Coles for two years, it is clear to me that he has a special gift for teaching kids. Not only does he possess an exceptional knowledge of personal training, he also manages to bring out the best in each athlete. His enthusiasm is contagious and he is an outstanding motivator. He is committed to helping the kids better themselves and the kids know that he believes in them. Athletes working with Craig work hard because they are having fun while they are learning. The qualities of hard work and discipline that Craig instills in kids are not just for sports, but apply to all areas of their lives. I started coming to Coach Coles in the beginning of the summer and to be honest I thought that I was just going to lift weights and become stronger and from the first day I met Craig I knew that I was going to get a lot more out of the workouts then I first thought. The great thing about Coach Coles is that he is a great motivator; he will never let you settle for a sub-par workout. All the workouts are dynamic workouts and allow you to not only become stronger but more explosive and allow you to excel in whatever sport or activity that you are part of. He also changes your outlook on competition for the better. One of the phrases that I learned and have taken with me to college that Coach Coles taught me is that everything is just “A small thing to a giant.” Whenever I think something is going to be hard I just think of working with Coach Coles and all the hours I put into working out and improving myself and I just tell myself that it is a small thing to a giant and I’m going to dominant the task at hand. I am so happy that I worked out with Coach Coles this summer because I feel like I am in a better position to succeed at college baseball then the beginning of the summer and he has also changed my mindset of how to approach a challenge by thinking that it is only a small thing to a giant
